Biography

2025 (Redshirt Freshman)
Wright developed into a quality role player, appearing in nine games for Fort Lewis... burst onto the scene with his career interception and a pair of pass breakups against top-ranked #7/5 Western Colorado (Oct. 4)... kept up his momentum with a career-high three solo tackles the following week at #11/11 CSU Pueblo (Oct. 11)... one of eight Skyhawks with an interception on the year... finished with the fourth-most pass breakups (4) on the team... racked up 10 tackles on the year with an even five solo and five assisted stops... rushed for his first quarterback hurry against Adams State (Nov. 1) and blocked his first kick by stopping a 33-yard field goal attempt at New Mexico Highlands (Nov. 8)... made one of just two blocked kicks by the Skyhawks. 

2024 (Freshman)
Played in one game for Fort Lewis to redshirt and retain a season of eligibility... made his collegiate debut at home against New Mexico Highlands (Nov. 9)... did not post any statistics.

Prior to FLC: Wright won three letters as a member of the Vista Ridge High School football team... earned a nod to the Second-Team All-Conference team... made a career-high two interceptions, five pass breakups, and four tackles in a single performance.

Personal: Born July 29, 2006... son of Teena and Wesley Wright... has one sibling, Alijah... enjoys playing video games and hanging out with friends... listens to rap including artists like Lil Tony... favorite food is a seafood boil... intends on majoring in Business Administration while at FLC... when asked about his favorite part of Fort Lewis, Wright shared, "the views!"
