Biography

2025 (Junior)
Davis returned as a staple of the Fort Lewis defense, starting in all 11 games... finished third on the roster with 51 total tackles, including 26 solo tackles and 25 assisted tackles... one of three Skyhawks to haul in two interceptions on the year... broke up eight passes to lead Fort Lewis and tie for the second-most passes defended in the RMAC with 10 total (0.91 per game)... tied for the eighth-most interceptions in the conference... finished 73rd in total passes defend across DII... also forced one quarterback hurry... set a career-mark nearly going the distance with a 98-yard interception return on the road at #11/11 CSU Pueblo (Oct. 11) which stood as the eighth-longest interception return across DII... set a new career-high with seven assisted tackles at Colorado Mesa (Oct. 25)... had multiple tackles in 10 games and four or more tackles on eight occassions.

2024 (Sophomore)
All-RMAC Honorable Mention 
Took command of the Skyhawks secondary, starting in all 11 games for Fort Lewis across the year... finished second on the roster and 13th in the RMAC with 69 total tackles, including 48 solo and 21 assisted tackles... also went in the trenches and made 2.5 tackles for seven total yards lost... led Fort Lewis and tied for the RMAC lead with four interceptions on the year while also breaking up two passes and forcing one quarterback hurry... forced and recovered one fumble each... made a career-high 12 tackles on the road at #13/12 Western Colorado (Oct. 5)... scampered for a career-long 42-yard interception return at #24/NR Colorado School of Mines... registered 1.5 tackles for six yards lost and brought down an interception against New Mexico Highlands (Nov. 9)... recorded 7+ tackles on six occasions... only finished with fewer than four tackles in one game... his efforts garnered his first nod as an All-RMAC Honorable Mention safety.

2023 (Freshman)
Made seven appearances and five starts for the Skyhawks... registered 13.0 total tackles including 10.0 solo and 3.0 assisted... made his collegiate debut and recorded his first tackle at Adams State (Sep. 23)... made one tackle for a one-yard loss at Chadron State (Oct. 7)... made his first career interception against Black Hills State (Oct. 28) and made an 11-yard return. 

Prior to FLC: Played all four seasons and lettered thrice in football at Cherokee Trail High School... also ran Track... was a two-time All-Conference honoree... named the Team Captain and Defensive MVP his senior season... in his final campaign Davis recorded 141 total tackles, 50 solo and 91 assisted... made 5.0 tackles for loss... recorded one quarterback hurry... hauled in four interceptions for 160 yards including one for a pick-six... also broke up eight passes. 

Personal: Born March 11, 2004... son of James Davis... has one sibling... plans to pursue his degree in Business... enjoys video games, working out, and rap music... when asked about his favorite part of Fort Lewis College, Davis shared, "The coaches."
