Box Score GOLDEN, Colo. – Top seeded Colorado School of Mines defeated the Fort Lewis College volleyball team Tuesday night, 3-0, in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference quarterfinal match from Lockridge Arena in Golden, Colo.
The Skyhawks, seeded eighth in the conference tournament, end their season 10-18 overall. The Orediggers, who are ranked No. 16 in the latest Division II national poll, improve to 24-5 on the season.

Ashley Wells, who was named to the All-RMAC Third Team earlier today, recorded a team high 11 kills. She joined with senior libero
Jenna Kinzer for the team lead in digs with 13 apiece.
Hannah Starbuck chipped in eight kills and hit .167, while
Stephani Sonka contributed five kills and no errors on eight attempts for a .278 hitting percentage.
Heather Danny locked in 24 set assists as the Skyhawks hit .124 as a team (30-17-105).
Colorado Mines' Melanie Wannamker, the RMAC Player of the Year, was near perfect against the Skyhawks, posting 12 kills and no errors for a .571 hitting percentage. The RMAC Freshman of the Year recorded 12 kills and hit .346, while the RMAC Setter of the Year Danielle Johnson-Hazelwood notched 41 of the Orediggers 45 set assists.
The Skyhawks bid to the RMAC Tournament was their first in two years. Fort Lewis finished the regular season 10-9 in league matches.
