Last Time Out
For the first time this season, the Skyhawks lost back to back games home.  Fort Lewis fell Friday afternoon to No. 19 MSU Denver, 3-2, in overtime.  The game-winning goal was an own goal after the Roadrunners took a corner kick and the ball deflected off a Skyhawk defender.

Friday's game marked the Skyhawks first overtime game this season.  Fort Lewis now holds a 32-21-4 advantage over the Roadrunners, and an 18-10-1 lead when playing at Dirks Field.

On Sunday against Colorado School of Mines, the Orediggers took a 1-0 lead in the 58th minute and the Skyhawks were unable to answer as they lost a 1-0 decision.

Fort Lewis is now 29-15-4 all-time against CSM and 17-5-3 at Dirks Field.

In the Classroom
Four Skyhawks earned RMAC All-Academic accolades this season.  Senior defender Maik Brandt (3.88 Business Administration) was voted to the first team, while junior goalkeeper Ryan Pakiser (3.75, Business Administration), sophomore defender Marcel Enghardt (3.44, Business Administration), and redshirt-freshman Alex Tillberry (3.88, Exercise Science) were named to the honor roll.

RMAC Top 10
Yannis Becker is first in the league in assists (five) and assists per game (0.42), third in points per game (0.50), fourth in shots (43), shots per game (3.58), and points (15), sixth in goals (5), and eighth in goals per game (0.42).

Tamino Kroeger ranks fourth in goals (6), fifth in goals per game (0.50), and sixth in points per game (1.17).

Luke Lawrence is eighth overall in the league in goals (0.36), while Cesar Castillo is eighth in points (10) and fourth in game-winning goals (2).

Scouting Colorado State-Pueblo
Colorado State-Pueblo leads the league in shots with 17.1 shots per game.  They rank sixth overall in points (44), goals (16), and assists (1.00), and seventh in goals allowed (21) and goals against average (1.74).

Matt Marchena is the league leader in shots taken.  Marchena is averaging 4.33 shots per game.  He is tied for 16th in the league with teammate Jack Gonzales for points scored (seven).

Defensively, Sam Haseltine has the 10th best goals against average in the RMAC with a 1.74.  He has made 69 saves for a 76.7 saves percentage.  His 69 saves are a league high.

Fort Lewis is 42-8-3 all-time against the ThunderWolves, and they hold a 24-3-1 advantage over the Pack when playing at home.  In their first meeting this season, FLC defeated CSUP on Oct. 5, 2-1.

Scouting Regis
Sunday will mark the Skyhawks second game against Regis this season.  The Rangers defeated FLC on Sept. 28 at Dirks Field, 3-1.

Regis has scored the most points in the league this season with 69 (6.27 points per game).  They lead the league in goals scored (25) and assists (19), and are third overall in shot attempts (174).

The Rangers Martin Maybin is one of the league's top offensive threats.  Maybin leads the league in points with 27, 10 more than the next highest leader.  He has scored the most goals (12), and has the fourth most assists in the league (three), and has taken the third most shots in the RMAC (45).

The Rangers primarily use two goalkeepers between the posts.  Connor Adkisson is sixth in the league in goals against average (0.91).  He has played 495 minutes and allowed five goals.  Christian Nicolosi is sixth in the league in GAA (1.05).  He has allowed six goals in 515 minutes.

About the Skyhawks
Three time NCAA Men's Soccer Champions Fort Lewis College is under the guidance of head coach Oige Kennedy, who is entering his sixth year at the helm for the Skyhawks.  

The Skyhawks opening weekend results against Midwestern State University (W, 4-2) and St. Edward's University (L, 1-0) marked the fourth straight season the Skyhawks have opened their schedule with a win.  In six years at FLC, Coach Kennedy has a 9-1-1 (.792) on opening weekend.

After finishing the 2013 season with an 11-8-1 overall record and a 7-7-0 conference mark (fifth place finish), the Skyhawks were picked to finish fifth again in the RMAC preseason coaches poll.  Defender Maik Brandt, midfielder Alberto Capdepon, and midfielder Tamino Kroeger were selected to the RMAC preseason team.
