RMAC announces schedule updates following ASU's decision to discontinue women's lacrosse

RMAC Statement

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference released Tuesday that Adams State University has announced the discontinuation of its women's lacrosse program, effective immediately.

Per the conference release, all unplayed games that remained in the ASU Women's Lacrosse schedule will count as forfeits.

The Skyhawks will receive a 6-0 forfeit in place of the matchup between the programs scheduled for Wednesday, April 27^th. The four RMAC contests played by the Grizzlies this season will remain as part of their 2022 overall record.

Fort Lewis will now play one less game at home this season, but the group will still look forward to three more home games to close out the season. Action begins on Thursday as the team hosts Colorado Mesa Unviersity for a 3:00 p.m. game from Ray Dennison Memorial Field.
