Last Time Out
Fort Lewis is coming home after surrendering a road series three games to one up at Colorado Mesa University (21-19, 20-12 RMAC) last weekend. Despite the tough series against the historical powerhouse Mavericks, the Skyhawks did manage to steal game one, 4-2, on the strength of a grand slam from Cali Niccum to snap a 37-game losing streak to CMU. FLC did put up 20 total runs in the series, paced by Alyssa Fockler's team-leading five hits in the series, just ahead of Izzy Cueva and Stella Romeo, who put up four hits each. Izzy Cueva leads the team with an eight-game hitting streak, followed by a pair of four-game streaks for Fockler and Skyler Dietz.
