Niccum settled into a key role in Fort Lewis' lineup, making 35 starts in 37 games played... spent a majority of her innings behind the plate but also saw action in the infield... posted 21 hits in 94 at-bats for a .223 batting average... belted two doubles and four home runs for 14 runs batted in (RBI), 35 total bases, and a .372 slugging percentage... also drew 13 walks, the second-most on the team, and six hit-by-pitches (HBP) for a .351 on-base percentage... boasted a .723 on-base-plus-slugging percentage which was the fourth-highest among Skyhawks to play in 75% of the total games for the year... also earned one sacrifice fly and made four sacrifice hits... went 2-for-2 in her first pair of stolen base attempts at Regis (Apr. 26)... defensively, Niccum owned a .960 fielding percentage with 161 putouts, nine assists, and seven errors in 177 total chances... contributed to six double-plays, had five passed balls, and caught her first runner stealing at UCCS (Mar. 9)... recorded two extra-base hits in a game for the first time in her career with a pair of doubles in a nine-inning loss to No. 15 Cal State Dominguez Hills (Feb. 1)... set a new career-high in runs scored (2) while also matching her career high with two RBIs at Adams State (Mar. 23)... made a career-high 14 putouts in 15 chances against CSU Pueblo (Mar. 17)... picked up her second-straight nod to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll while also earning recognition on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District and Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association Scholar-Athlete teams.
2024 (Sophomore)

Returned from injury to make 21Â starts across her 23 games played for Fort Lewis... picked up her first career hit with a single at Colorado School of Mines (Mar. 22)... notched her first extra-base hit with a double on day two against the Orediggers (Mar. 23)... launched her first career home run at UCCS (Apr. 26)... totaled 17 hits in 61 at-bats for a .279 average... had four multi-hit games... totaled two doubles and one homer for a .361 slugging percentage alongside a .362 on-base percentage... drew seven walks and one HBP... scored four runs... made a career-high six putouts against New Mexico Highlands (Apr. 20)... boasted one of three perfect fielding percentages (1.000) on the roster with 31 catches, 30 putouts, and an assist.Â
2023 (Freshman)
Made one appearance due to injury... was perfect in the field with three putouts for a 1.000 fielding percentage. Â
Prior to FLC: Niccum came to Durango after competing in softball, volleyball, and basketball at Yuba City High School... four-year letterwinner in softball... four-time All-Academic honoree... SAC All-Metro Player and All-Conference award winner... career .417 batting average alongside a .716 slugging percentage.
Personal: Born March 4, 2004... daughter of Eric and Kathryn Niccum... has two siblings, Major and Mason... intends on majoring in Criminology at Fort Lewis.
