Appeared in six games for the Skyhawks, making one start in the circle before suffering a season-ending injury... held a 1-1 record through 11.0 innings pitched... surrendered 25 hits, 20 runs, 16 earned runs, six walks, and one hit-by-pitch in 58 at-bats... opponents hit .431 on the season en route to a 10.18 earned run average (ERA)... held a 2.82 walks-plus-hits-per-inning-pitched (WHIP)... made two wild pitches and gave up one sacrifice fly... earned two assists in her first two chances for a perfect fielding percentage (1.000)... twice struck-out a career-high two batters... picked up her first collegiate strikeouts and first collegiate win out of the bullpen at Adams State (Mar. 23).Â
Prior to FLC: Walton was a four-year letterwinner at Boulder Creek High School... earned 6A Desert Valley Second-Team All-Region as a pitcher in 2023... a member of the National Honor Society... registered 231 strikeouts from her freshmen to junior seasons.Â
Personal: Born March 15, 2006... daughter of Tracy and Jim Walton... has one sibling, Dylan... enjoys reading, weight lifting, thrifting, listening to artists such as Hozier, Stephen Sanchez, Queen, and Foreigner, and makes a mean chocolate chip cookie... intends on double-majoring in Criminology & Justice Studies with a minor in Forensic Studies while at FLC... when asked about her favorite parts of Fort Lewis, Walton shared, "It's a beautiful town and campus full of amazing people! It's exactly what I was looking for in my college experience!"Â
