Biography

2025 (Redshirt Freshman)
King found himself in a quality rotational role for the Skyhawks, competing in all 11 games across the season... compiled 17 total tackles, including 13 solo and four assisted tackles... burst onto the scene with a career-high five tackles, four solo, and a four-yard interception return for a touchdown on the road at Arizona Christian (Sept. 6)... made his first tackle for loss with a four-yard stop against #7/5 Western Colorado (Oct. 4)... one of three Skyhawks and 20 total players in the RMAC with two interceptions on the season... nabbed his first pick against the Firestorm (Sept. 6) and another against Adams State (Nov. 1)... had four or more tackles on three occasions. 

2024 (Freshman)
Did not see any action for Fort Lewis... utilized a redshirt to retain a year of eligibility. 

Prior to FLC: King most recently spent the 2023-24 academic year at the University of Colorado Boulder after beginning his studies in 2022-23 at the Community College of Aurora... played football, baseball, and ran track at Vista PEAK Preparatory... made five interceptions and 17 pass breakups in a single season after racking up 31 pass breakups the season prior.

Personal: Born May 19, 2004... son of Cheryl Jackson and Tchaka King... has two siblings... enjoys playing video games and listening to Baby Face E and G Herbo... favorite food is shrimp and white rice... intends on majoring in Business Administration while at FLC... when asked about his favorite part of Fort Lewis, King shared, 'the scenery and atmosphere around the school."
