Prior to FLC: Lucero was a three-sport standout and four-time varsity letterwinner in football, track and field, and wrestling for the Pirates at Pagosa Springs High School... named First-Team All-State as a senior and Second-Team All-State as a junior... boasted a single-game best of 400 rushing yards and averaged 10.6 yards per carry as a senior.

Personal: Born August 17, 2007... son of Tawnie and David Lucero... has three siblings... enjoys hanging out with friends and family, being out on the lake or anywhere outdoors, and going out to eat... listens to a variety of music, including artists like Drake and Kenny Chesney... secret talents include the ability to backflip and solve a Rubik's Cube... favorite foods are pizza, burgers, and steak... intends to major in Business while at Fort Lewis... when asked his favorite part about FLC, Lucero shared, "the beautiful campus and amazing football facilities."
