Morris stepped into the starting role early in the season, registering eight starts while competing in 10 games... threw for 1,405 yards on 113 completions in 197 attempts (57.36% completion percentage) with seven touchdowns and five interceptions... threw for the sixth-most yards, eighth-most touchdowns, and fourth-fewest interceptions in the RMAC... also ranked 74th in completion percentage, 82nd in passing efficiency (123.9 rating), 91st in completions per game (11.3), 92nd in passing yards per game (140.5 yards/game), 98th in passing yards, 114th in yards of total offense per game (136.6 yards/game), and 144th in passing touchdowns across all of NCAA DII... scrambled and rushed for 50 total carries and (-39) total yards... twice rushed for a career-long 19 yards at Arizona Christian (Sept. 6) and against Adams State (Nov. 1)... found his stride against the Firestorm (Sept. 6), going 12-for-16 from the pocket for 146 yards and two touchdowns while also scrambling for six yards on five carries... posted a season-best completiong percentage going 10-for-14 with one touchdown and one interception against a dauting #7/5 Western Colorado (Oct. 4) squad... posted a pair of 200-yard passing efforts against Adams State (Nov. 1) and at New Mexico Highlands (Nov. 8)... threw for over 140 yards five times... also made five punts for 164 yards (32.8 yards/punt) with one touchback and three punts inside-the-20... made a solo tackle at Colorado Mesa (Oct. 25)... picked up his second nod the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference All-Academic Honor Roll and was also named to the National Football Foundation Colorado Chapter (NFFCC) Academic All-Colorado First-Team and College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Teams.Â

Made two starts across his five appearances for Fort Lewis... recorded his first start at Chadron State (Oct. 19)... had a career game at Black Hills State (Sept. 21), going 8-for-16 (50%) from the pocket for 92 yards and his first touchdown... notched a career-long 19-yard completion... also added seven rushing attempts for eight yards against the Yellow Jackets... posted a career-long 10-yard carry at Chadron State (Oct. 19)... finished the season with 16 completions in 42 attempts (38.1%) for 133 yards, three interceptions, and one touchdown... made 12 rushing attempts for eight net yards... recorded his first career tackle against the Eagles... earned his first nod to the RMAC Academic Honor Roll.
2023 (Freshman)
Played in one game, making his collegiate debut against CSU Pueblo (Sept. 30)... completed one of his two passing attempts for a three-yard completion... also made two rushing attempts for three net yards... utilized a redshirt to retain a year of eligibility.Â
Prior to FLC: Was a four-year letterwinner in football, a three-year letterwinner in basketball, and a two-year letterwinner in baseball at Seton Catholic Preparatory... twice earned All-Conference recognition in football and basketball... captained the football team his sophomore through senior seasons and the basketball team as a junior and senior... was a four-time football Academic All-State honoree... as a football player he recorded 3,332 passing yards, 27 passing touchdowns, recorded over 100 rushing yards in a single game and ranks Top-10 in school history for total passing yards... in basketball, he led the conference in double-doubles and rebounds... posted a career-best 21-point, 20-rebound double-double on 95% shooting.Â
Personal: Born December 29, 2004... son of Nicole & Shawn Morris... has three siblings, Josh, Addi, and Ryan... plans to pursue his degree in Business... enjoys hanging out with friends and family, fishing, pickleball, skiing, and listening to a mix of country and rap music... when asked about what drew him to Fort Lewis College Morris shared, "I love the beautiful campus, the coaching staff, and all of the outdoor activities in Durango."Â
