2024 (Sophomore)
NFFCC Academic All-Colorado Honorable Mention
Barta became a mainstay in the Skyhawks offensive line in the heart of the season, playing in nine total games while making eight consecutive starts to close out the year... helped Fort Lewis improve its rushing game to 125.8 yards per game, marking a +60.3-yard improvement from the season prior... earned his first nod to the National Football Foundation Colorado Chatper Academic All-Colorado Honorable Mention team.

2023 (Freshman) 
Played in five games on the offensive line for the Skyhawks... made his first collegiate appearance against New Mexico Highlands (Sep. 16).

Prior to FLC: Barta was a four-year player for Mountain View High School... All-Region in football... Second Team All-State in wrestling... First Team All-Academic in wrestling.

Personal: Born March 8, 2005...Son of Brenda & Chad Barta...has one sibling...intends to major in Computer Information Systems at FLC...enjoys snowboarding, dirt biking, and hanging out with friends...when asked about his favorite aspect of Fort Lewis College, Barta shared, "I personally love the environment and the people I'm surrounded by. These people will push me to be better every day!"
