Biography

2024 (Redshirt Freshman)
Appeared in five games for the Skyhawks... made one solo tackle for the season at Chadron State (Oct. 19).

2023 (Freshman)
Played in one game, making his collegiate debut against #1/1 Colorado School of Mines (Nov. 11)... recorded his first collegiate and lone tackle of the season against the Orediggers... utilized a redshirt season to retain a year of eligibility. 

Prior to FLC: Was a four-year member of the Poway High School football team, making appearances at linebacker, running back, and wide receiver... was a Scholar All-American, National Honor Award, and AVID Honors member... named the San Diego Open Division MVP... named the Outside Linebacker MVP at a Fort Lewis camp. 

Personal: Born May 29, 2005... son of Mbong "Kiko" Ekiko... has three siblings, Kemfon, Dara, and little brother Mbong who is also a member of the Skyhawks football team... plans to pursue his degree in Mechanical Engineering... enjoys reading, video games, traveling, listening to Rap & Hip-Hop, and rice and stew with plantains... when asked about his favorite aspect of Fort Lewis College, Ekiko shared, "The views on campus are spectacular. There's a focus on campus I enjoy, and I'll be able to get a great education as a student-athlete."
