Biography

Prior to FLC: Lewis Jr. spent the 2025 season with the Cougars at Los Angeles Southwest College (Southern California Football Association)... saw action in nine of the team's 11 games... racked up 53 total tackles (5.9 tkls/game), including 31 solo and 22 assisted stops... also registered 8.0 tackles for 29 yards lost as well as 1.0 sacks for 10 yards... returned one fumble for 13 yards... broke up two passes... posted eight or more tackles on three occassions... racked up a career-high 13 tackles (six solo, seven assisted) and 1.5 tackles for four yards lost against West Los Angeles College (Sept. 27, 2025)... attempted and converted on his first-ever point-after attempt against Los Angeles Pierce College (Sept. 20, 2025)... named All-Conference at linebacker for LASC... previously played for the West LA College Wildcats (SCFA) during the 2024 season... played in eight games for WLAC... split time between linebacker and running back... posted nine total tackles, six solo and three assisted, and 2.0 tackles for five yards lost... forced one fumble against LA Pierce (Sept. 21, 2024)... made 66 carries for 272 rushing yards and one tyouchdown... averaged 34.0 rushing yards per game and 4.1 yards per carry... committed just one fumble... rushed for over 50 yards in four games, including a career-high 69 yards and one touchdown on 15 attempts against Los Angeles Valley College (Sept. 28, 2024)... made a career-long 36-yard carry against Chaffey College (Oct. 19,. 2024)... also made four catches for 22 total yards and returend one kick for seven yards... was a stand-out member of the Susan Miller Dorsey High School boys football and track and field teams... earned All-Conference honors at both running back and linebacker... voted team captain... tabbed as the football team's Most Valuable Player in back-to-back seasons... named to the honor roll all four seasons. 

Personal: Born November 13, 2006... son of Chanera Donaldson and JaVaun Lewis Sr... has two siblings, Jahaj and Shiyah... enjoys going to the gym, playing video games, and watching YouTube... enjoys listening to artists such as Afro Beats, Chris Brown, Burna Boy, Mozzy, and other r&b and hip-hop artists... favorite foods are mac-n-cheese, enchiladas, and jerk chicken... intends on majoring in Kinesiology while at FLC... when asked his favorite part about Fort Lewis, Lewis Jr. shared, "How quiet and peaceful the campus is and how the deer are all on campus!"
