Biography

2024 (Sophomore)
Continued to be an integral part of the Skyhawks lineup, starting in all 11 games for the season... tied for the 5th-most tackles on the roster with 44 for the year, including 33 solo and 11 assisted tackles... averaged four tackles per game... made 2.0 tackles for two yards lost... led the roster, ranked 2nd in the RMAC, and finished 33rd in Division II with nine pass breakups on the season... also led the Skyhawks with two blocked kicks on the season thanks to two blocked extra point attempts at #24/NR Colorado School of Mines (Nov. 16)... also made his first career kick return, a 45-yard return, against the top-ranked Orediggers... paired a career-high three pass breakups with five solo tackles, including 1.0 tackle for one yard lost, against South Dakota Mines (Sept. 28)... went for a career-high eight tackles (seven solo, one assisted) on the road at Black Hills State (Sept. 21)... made at least one tackle in every contest and recorded five or more tackles in five games. 

2023 (Freshman)
Made five starts across his 11 games played as a true freshman... recorded 16 total tackles including 13 solo and three assisted to average 1.45 tackles per game... made at least one tackle in ten of his 11 games... made his collegiate debut and recorded his first tackle at William Jewell (Sept. 2) in the season-opener... registered his first and only tackle for a four-yard loss in his career-high four-tackle performance against Colorado Mesa (Oct. 14)... led the roster with four pass breakups... broke-up two passes at South Dakota Mines (Oct. 21).

Prior to FLC: Comes to Durango as a four-time letterwinner in football and track & field at Canyon del Oro High School... tabbed as the Regional Player of the Year... First-Team All-Conference as a kick returner and Second-Team All-Conference as a punt returner... twice named Player of the Week... named team captain and the program's Most Valuable Player... also named the Offensive Back Player of the Year... tallied 2,414 yards in his career including 1,432 rushing and 400 receiving for 25 career touchdowns. 

Personal: Born February 12, 2005... son to Dawn and Marvin Thomas... has three siblings... favorite foods include mac-n-cheese, cornbread, and gumbo... enjoys listening to R&B music and artists like Future... intends on majoring in Business while at FLC... when asked about his favorite part of Fort Lewis, Thomas shared, The incredible views!"
