Biography

Prior to FLC: Meza was a four-year varsity letterwinner for the Patriots at American Leadership Academy... posted a 38-7 career record... helped his squad capture a state championship in 2019... named Corner Back of the Year, Returner of the Year, Underclassmen of the Year, and to the Ed Dougherty Watch List... was a three-time All-State defensive selection, four-time All-Region defensive honoree, two-time All-State special teams player, and three-time All-Region offensive and special teams honoree... twice voted team captain... also a four-time Academic All-State student-athlete... throughout his career, Meza recorded 156 tackles, 19 pass deflections, and six interceptions on defense... racked up 3,185 all-purpose yards and 24 touchdowns... posted a series of single-game bests, including 228 receiving yards, three touchdowns, 16 tackles, and four pass deflections.

Personal: Born May 27, 2004... son of Sommer Wyble and Joe Mez... has three siblings, Alec, Kylie, and Kennedy... enjoys making TikToks and giving motivational speeches... listens to a variety of artists, including Rod Wave, Taylor Swift, and Hawaiian Reggae... favorite foods are Chicken Fried Steak and Strawberry Shortcake... intends on majoring in Business Administration while at FLC... when asked his favorite part about Fort Lewis, Meza shared, "The beautiful scenery and environment in Durango."
