Biography

Prior to FLC: Janes played one season for the Defenders at Dordrt University, a member of the Great Plains Athletic Conference (NAIA), back in 2023 in Sioux Center, Iowa... Dordt posted a 9-3 overall record and an 8-2 mark in GPAC play and made a run in the NAIA Football Championship Series before losing to No. 1 Northwestern (14-1), the eventual national runners-up, 7-0 in the second round... Janes won three letters in football and basketball as well as two letters in track at Discovery Canyon Campus High School in Colorado Springs, Colo... was an All-State honoree as well as a three-time All-Conference player at safety and on special teams... also an All-Conference selection at quarterback... named the team's Offensive and Defensive Player of the Year... named Track Male Athlete of the Year... posted 68 tackles, three interceptions, and two fumble recoveries as a senior... had a career-best game with seven tackles as well alongside 103 passing yards, 119 rushing yards, and one touchdown. 

Personal: Born July 19, 2004... son of Robin and Matt Janes... has one sibling, Madison... enjoys playing golf, snowboarding, and card games in his spare time... listens to Rap music and loves Mexican food... secret talents include solving a Rubik's Cube... intends on majoring in Business Administration while at FLC... when asked about his favorite part of Fort Lewis, Janes shared, "The atmosphere and views on campus."
