Aaron Dunlap

One of Skyhawk football's most successful defensive players, Aaron Dunlap was a 6-foot-1, 200-pound defensive back who started and lettered all four seasons from 1993-96. He was tabbed as an All-American in 1996 (third team) and in 1995 (honorable mention). He earned first team All-RMAC accolades in 1995 and 1996 and All-RMAC honorable mention in 1994. As a junior in 1995, Dunlap was chosen by his peers as the team's Most Valuable Player.

At the time of his induction in 2004, Dunlap held the school record for most career fumble recoveries (11), ranked second in career interceptions (14) and third in career forced fumbles (7). Among his many highlights are returning an interception 35-yards for a touchdown against Angelo State on Sept. 24, 1994. Dunlap completed his career with 180 tackles in 40 games.

Dunlap is a 1993 graduate of Bishop Union High School in Bishop, Calif. He graduated from Fort Lewis College with a bachelor's degree in exercise science in 2000.
