David Stearns

Stearns, a two-year starting guard on the Raider basketball team from 1965-67, became the first player in school history to average 20 or more points per game. He averaged 20 ppg as a senior in 1966-67. That same season, he led the team with 145 rebounds despite being just 5-foot-9. Stearns ranked 33rd in Fort Lewis College history in scoring with 670 career points at the time of his induction. He served as associate vice president of enrollment services at the University of South Alabama.
