Jeff Thulson became the fairst Fort Lewis College golfer to be inducted into the Fort Lewis College Athletic Hall of Fame.

A four-year letter winner from 1974-1978, Mr. Thulson earned All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference honors in 1976, 1977 and 1978. He took third place at the 1976 RMAC tournament, hosted by Durango-area courses, Hillcrest and Tamarron.
Mr. Thulson was active in the local golf scene, winning the 1995 Hillcrest Club Championship.

He received his bachelor's degree in business administration from Fort Lewis College in 1978. In 1989, he graduated from the three-year program at the Colorado School of Banking.

Mr. Thulson has lending and investment experience, including stints as vice president and commercial lending officer at First National Back of Durango, as an investment broker at Piper Jaffray in Durango.

From 1981 to 1986, Mr. Thulson was an assistant vice president at First National Bank of Salida. While in Salida, he served as president of the Salida Golf Club and was active in other community groups.
