2005 Men's Soccer Team
The 2005 Skyhawks men's soccer team won the first of three NCAA Division II championships for Fort Lewis College.  The Skyhawks went undefeated for the first time in school history and posted the best record in FLC history with a 22-0-1 record (.978 winning percentage).

The Skyhawks offense was also one of the most potent in the 24-year history of men's soccer at FLC.  The Skyhawks recorded the second most goals (85), assists (76) and total points (246).  FLC's defense notched 14 shutouts and allowed only 14 goals all season, the third fewest in both categories.

At the helm for the Skyhawks was head coach Jeremy Gunn.  The winningest coach in school history with a 123-35-17 record (.751 winning percentage), Gunn was making his fourth appearance to the NCAA Division II playoffs and his second trip to the Final Four (1999 NCAA Division II Runners-up).
