Dan Gallagher played point guard for the Raiders for three seasons from 1987-89, helping the team win its first two RMAC championships in 1987 and '89.

He became the second men's basketball player in FLC history to earn All-America recognition when he received NAIA All-America honorable mention as a senior. He was also named to the Denver Post All-Colorado first team, All-NAIA District VII first team, and All-RMAC  first team in 1989.

At the time of his induction in 2008, Gallagher ranked among FLC career leaders in assists (fourth, 317), steals (eighth, 117), and three-point field goals (12th, 108). His 13 assists vs. Western New Mexico on Feb. 10, 1989, is tied for second most assists in a single game in school history.

Gallagher graduated from FLC in 1989 with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
