Dave Bray broadcast Fort Lewis College athletics for 24seasons until his retirement as the "Voice of the Skyhawks" following the 2009 football season. He first served as color commentator for the Raider football games in 1982 and moved into the play-by-play chair shortly thereafter. He announced hundreds of FLC football and men's and women's basketball games in the years that followed.

Alumni, parents, and fans across the country tuned in to hear Bray's excited despriptions of Skyhawk games — including Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and NCAA playoff contests — on www.radiodurango.com.

He is the only media member to have been inducted into the FLC Athletic Hall of Fame.

His support of the Skyhawks stretches beyond the radio dial, as he has served in the past as a member of the Athletic Hall of Fame Selection Commitee.

Since retiring from FLC games, Bray has done play-by-play work for Bayfield High School athletics.

In addition to his radio work, Bray works at South City Market, Home Depot, and has written the "Clubhouse Porch" column for the Durango Herald for decades.
