Ronda Eagle-Thompson

Ronda Eagle-Thompson became Fort Lewis College's all-time women's basketball rebounding leader during her four-year career from 1982 to 1986. Her 741 career rebounds stood in the Fort Lewis College record books from the moment she hung up her sneakers until 2005, when Amy Mohr set the new career standard (945). Eagle-Thompson still ranks third all-time following the conclusion of the 2010-11 season.

She won six letters at Fort Lewis College — four in basketball and two in volleyball. She received first team All-NAIA District VII and second team All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference honors during her senior season in 1985-86.

Eagle-Thompson was a member of Fort Lewis College's first two RMAC women's basketball championship teams. As a freshman, she helped coach Troy Bledsoe and company win the school's first-ever RMAC title. As a senior, she enabled the Raiders to win conference and district titles and come within two points of advancing to the NAIA National Championships.

She still ranks among FLC career leaders in scoring (11th, 988 points) and blocked shots (seventh, 63) through the completion of the 2010-11 season.

After finishing at Fort Lewis College, where she studied business education and secretaril science and received an associate's degree in 1986, Eagle-Thompson coached at nearby Bayfield High School, assisting with the volleyball and girls' basketball teams. She also coached the Wolverine cheerleaders, leading them to the Colorado Class A state championship in their first year of state competition.

She and her husband currently reside in Las Vegas, Nev.
