Kendra Keeley was recruited to play women's basketball at FLC — which she did from 1992-94 — but made her biggest impact on the soccer pitch. Fort Lewis first fielded a women's soccer intercollegiate club team in 1993 and Keeley scored four goals in the inaugural game against Adams State on Sept. 25, 1993.
In two years of varsity soccer (FLC fielded its first varsity women's soccer team in 1994), she was named to the All-Colorado Athletic Conference first team in 1994 and '95, the CoSIDA/NCAA-II All-Great Plains Region first team in '95, the NSCAA/Umbro All-West Region second team in '95, and Academic All-CAC in '94 and '95.
In 27 career games, she tallied five goals, six assists, and 16 total points. At the time of her induction in 2008, her 86 shots still stood as a single-season school record.
On the hardwood, Keeley earned Academic All-CAC honors in 1993-94.
Knee injuries ended her collegiate athletic career prematurely. However, Keeley continued her athletic career as a professional mountain biker after leaving Fort Lewis.
She graduated from FLC in exercise science in 1996.
