One of the greatest defenders to play for the Fort Lewis men's soccer program, Luc Cisna played for the Skyhawks from 1995-99 while sitting out the 1996 season with an injury.

Cisna was a two-time All-American, two time Academic All-American, two-time all-region performer, two-time team captain and a rare four-time academic all-conference performer for the Skyhawks. He guided FLC to four conference championships and the NCAA national title game in 1999. He was chosen to play in the 2000 Umbro Bowl Selection game featuring top collegiate players from all NCAA and NAIA divisions and received the 1999-2000 Fort Lewis Male Athlete of the Year award. In 76 games, Cisna recorded 17 points.

He continued his career in the professional ranks for several seasons after leaving Fort Lewis, playing for several different teams.

"Luc is quite a story," said former head men's soccer coach Jeremy Fishbein, who coached Cisna from 1995-98. "He joined the team as a walk-on and didn't play much his first season. He got better and better each year and his passion for excellence was contagious on the field. Luc kept spirits high on the team and knew when to be serious and when to have fun. He is the ultimate competitor with a tremendous personality."

In 2009, Cisna was named to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference's All-Century Team for men's soccer.

He was later inducted into the FLC Athletic Hall of Fame as a member of the 1999 team that advanced to the NCAA championship game, making him a rare two-time inductee into the Athletic Hall of Fame.

He graduated from FLC in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in general biology.
