Hall of Fame
Martin Dirks is one of the most generous donors in the history of FLC athletics. Through the Joseph B. Gould Foundation, his generosity has led to the creation and improvements to the soccer stadium that bears his name (Dirks Field) and scholarships for men’s and women’s soccer players.
Dirks played intercollegiate club soccer at Fort Lewis in the 1970s, helping to lay the foundation for what has become one of the NCAA Division II’s most dominant programs. He graduated from FLC in 1977.
He and his wife, Geraldine, live in Manhattan Beach, Calif.
