Charles England was a three-year letter winner for the Fort Lewis College cross-country team from 1986-88, earning NAIA All-America, NAIA All-District VII and All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference accolades twice during his career.

His 25:02 time in the 8,000 meter NAIA National Championship on Nov. 19, 1988, set a school record. He also earned All-America honors during the 1986 campaign, a season that saw him lead the Raider harriers to a third place finish in the conference and district championship.

England graduated from Fort Lewis College in 1989 with a bachelor's degree in art.
