Hall of Fame
Rocky Schneider started all four seasons at nose guard for the Skyhawks from 1994-97.
He was named to the C.M. Frank All-America second team in 1996, C.M. Frank's All-America honorable mention in '95, and Don Hansen's Football Gazette All-America honorable mention in '96 and '97. He was also a CoSIDA/NCAA-II All-West Region first team choice in '96 and second team selection in '97. Additionally, Schneider earned three straight first team All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference selections from 1995-97. He was also named Regional Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 26, 1995.
At the time of his induction in 2008, Schneider owned the school record for most forced fumbles in a career (nine) and ranked among FLC's career defensive leaders in tackles (10th, 268), tackles-for-loss (second, 50), and sacks (fifth, 18.5).
He serves as head football coach at Prairie View High School in the Denver area.
Schneider graduated from FLC in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in exercise science and K-12 teacher certification.
