Chuck Lamb is considered by many to be the greatest big man in the history of Fort Lewis College basketball. The numbers he put up during his four-year basketball career as an Aggie and a Raider have withstood the test of time. Mr. Lamb collected 1,054 rebounds from 1960 through 1964.

Upon graduating from Fort Lewis College, Mr. Lamb moved to Phoenix, Ariz., and began to develop his management skills while working for Valley National Bank. Two-and-a-half years later, he returned to his hometown of Elkhart, Ind., to begin working for a company that supplied components to the recreational vehicle industry.

In 1974, Mr. Lamb started his own company that evolved into a manufacturing company for hardwood products.

Active in his community, Mr. Lamb served on the Elkhart YMCA board of directors for 12 years (including two terms as president), the Elcona Country Club board of directors for six years, and was president of the Parent Advisory Council at Elkhart Central High School for four years.

Mr. Lamb was instrumental in organizing the Don Whalen Presidential Golf Tournament, which, in just six years, raised more than $100,000 to endow a scholarship in the former Fort Lewis College coach and administrator's name.
